I've really got to pimp this program because I've had it for ...two days? now, and I am seriously considering having ALL its babies.

Two Books Everyone Should Read:

"Lucky" by Alice Sebold
Sure, "The Lovely Bones" is beautiful and sad and moving and DAMNIT I CRIED FOR A WEEK, but dude, you've not read anything until you read Lucky. An emotional rollercoaster which dares you to stop reading but you can't because every girl, boy, dog should read this book and realise what a horrendous ordeal this young woman, and millions of other women and men go through. Sample the first page here at Amazon. It's amazing.

"The Giver" by Lois Lowry
I'm not sure where to begin. It's a banned book, for starters, a slim novel for teenagers meant to...I don't know, open their eyes? A bit 1984-esque, the book focuses on a world in the future where you are prescribed a mate, you get up to 2 children from the government (not your own) and, at 13 or so, you get a job. This is your job for life. A young boy gets given the job of "The Giver", a prestigious honour which means he...well, I'll let you find out for yourself.

Basically everyone knows the feeling of being broken up with. It's horrible and you want to crawl under the covers and never come out again. It's even worse when you go to school with said crush. This post is for queen_bunnie, who requested I upload some break-up songs, which, luckily enough, my friend + I did a mixCD for. Here are some selections, babe.

"Heal Over" by KT Tunstall
This didn't appear on my CD for my friend because at the time, I had no idea who KT was. Now, I'm enlightened and can't get over how great this girl is. I would reccommend picking up a copy of the album (virtually or in RL), because it's the most beautiful music ever. She covers every genre (just about) and has the most beautiful voice. I'm reccing this song because it's probably the most break-up orientated, however, most of her tracks could fit the theme as well. (Let me know if you want more of this, or any in this post).

A lot of their music I discovered from Grey's Anatomy, which has the ability to break my heart, so maybe no one else will understand how much this song breaks me, but it does.

If you haven't heard this song, you haven't lived. Another "I'm-too-good-for-you" track, which is what you need to hear after a break-up. It starts off the way exactly how you feel after you break-up with someone ("Hello how you doing?/What's it like to ruin all my self esteem?") and progresses to tell you about this girl who's broken his heart because she thought she was the only one who mattered. It's a great song, and when you're feeling down it can lift you up, not in a happy way but in a ...bitter way >:D

Since there is as yet no iTMS for Australia, you'd have to be able to buy from another country's iTMS. To do that, you must have either:

a) a credit card with a billing address in that country, or

b) a mailing address in that country and a gift certificate or a prepaid card that was bought in that country.

If you cannot fulfill one of these two sets of conditions, you will not be able to purchase from any given country's iTMS.
